Here we have a bulk lot of 25 old style £2 coins: £50 total. They are all commemorative "Thistle" XIII Commonwealth Games, Edinburgh 1986.
These 1986 coins were released to celebrate the thirteenth Commonwealth Games which opened in Edinburgh on 24 July 1986. The games were the second to be held in the Scottish capital and welcomed 1,660 athletes from 27 different countries.
