This is a lovely example of a set of sought after Spanish Peseta banknotes. This includes the 5000 note with the Fleur-de-lis at the centre, Juan Carlos I at right; Royal Palace of Madrid at left on the reverse.
The 2000 Peseta note shows Juan Ramón Jiménez at the right; Villa de la Rosa at the left centre on the reverse.
The 1000 note with Benito Pérez Galdós at the right; rocks, mountains and map of Canary Islands on the reverse.
The 500 Peseta banknote with Rosalia de Castro at the right and the 200 Peseta note with Leopoldo Alas at the right.
